Bestone Quartz Surface is produced with up-to-date technology and fresh mined natural quartz stone grains, which makes the product resistant to external forces. During production process, resin and couplings are necessarily added to provide a certain flexibility to the product and minimize the fragile attribute. Hence a thermal shock might cause damage to the resin and the stone surface. What's more, when the quartz surfaces are exposed to direct sunlight for a long time, the whole slab might be warped and the color will be faded away because of the UV light. Therefore, a certain handling guidance must be applied when it comes to unload, store, fabricate and install the quartz stone surfaces.

HOW TO CHOOSE A GOOD SUPPLIER FOR QUARTZ STONE

Some people may have difficulty in finding a good supplier for quartz stone. Here is some detailed information on how to choose a quartz stone supplier and installer for your quartz countertops project. Making the right choices at this stage can greatly impact the quality and success of your project.

1. Research and Recommendations:
Start by conducting thorough research online. Look for reputable quartz stone suppliers and installers in your area. Read customer reviews and testimonials to gauge their reputation. Seek recommendations from friends, family, or colleagues who have recently undertaken similar projects. Their firsthand experiences can provide valuable insights.

2. Verify Credentials and Experience:
Check if the supplier and installer are licensed, insured, and bonded. A professional supplier should have a wide variety of quartz stone options and a proven track record. An experienced installer will ensure proper handling and installation of the quartz slabs. Ask for references and examples of their previous work.

3. Visit Showrooms:
Visit showrooms of potential suppliers to see their quartz stone selection in person. This allows you to assess the quality, colors, patterns, and textures available. Discuss your project requirements with their experts and gather material samples for consideration.

4. Ask About Warranty:
Inquire about the warranty offered by the supplier and installer. A reputable supplier should provide a warranty for their quartz products, and a professional installer should offer a warranty for their installation work. Make sure you understand the terms and coverage.

5. Obtain Multiple Quotes:
Contact multiple suppliers and installers to request detailed quotes for your project. The quotes should include the cost of quartz slabs, fabrication, installation, any additional services, and potential extras. Compare the quotes to ensure you're getting a fair deal.

6. Check Material Quality:
When choosing a quartz supplier, ensure they offer high-quality quartz slabs from reputable brands. Ask about the composition of the quartz material, its hardness, and durability. Request information about any certifications or tests the material has undergone.

7. Communication and Customer Service:
Pay attention to the supplier's and installer's communication skills and customer service. Prompt responses, willingness to address your concerns, and clear explanations indicate their professionalism and commitment to your project's success.

8. Visit Completed Projects:
If possible, ask the installer if you can visit completed projects they've worked on. Seeing their craftsmanship firsthand will help you gauge the quality of their work and attention to detail.

9. Ask About Fabrication and Installation Process:
Gain a clear understanding of the fabrication and installation process. Ask how seams will be handled, what edge profiles are available, and how they ensure a secure and accurate fit. Discuss any specific design elements you want to incorporate.

10. Timeline and Project Management:
Inquire about the estimated timeline for your project, from selecting quartz slabs to completion of installation. A well-organized supplier and installer will provide a realistic schedule and keep you informed of progress.

11. Payment Terms and Contracts:
Review the payment terms and ensure they align with your budget and expectations. Read and understand any contracts before signing, including details about scope of work, pricing, warranties, and any other terms.

12. Ask for Documentation:
Request documentation of the entire project plan, including quartz selection, layout, seam placement, and installation details. This documentation helps ensure everyone is on the same page and minimizes misunderstandings.

13. Get a Written Estimate:
Once you've selected a supplier and installer, ask for a detailed, written estimate that outlines all costs associated with the project. This estimate should include material costs, fabrication, installation, and any additional charges.

14. Prepare Your Space:
Before installation day, clear the space around the installation area to make the process smoother. Remove any fragile or valuable items from the vicinity.

15. Final Inspection and Approval:
Once the installation is complete, thoroughly inspect the countertops with the installer. Address any concerns or issues promptly. Only when you are satisfied with the result should you provide final approval and payment.

Remember, thorough research and communication are key to a successful quartz countertops project. By following these steps and taking the time to make informed decisions, you'll be well on your way to achieving the beautiful quartz countertops you desire for your home.
